Delete Your Muyassir Account

You can permanently delete your account and personal study data from inside the Muyassir app.

Delete your account in the app

Open Muyassir and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open your profile or account settings.
Select Delete Account.
Sign in again if the app asks you to confirm your identity.
Read the warning, enter the requested confirmation, and confirm permanent deletion.

Deletion is permanent. Account access is revoked when deletion is accepted. The deletion process cannot be undone, and deleted study history cannot be restored.

Data that is deleted

The deletion process removes data associated with your account from Muyassir's active systems, including:

Your account profile, sign-in identity, authentication tokens, device details, notification subscriptions, and profile image.
Your Quran study progress, reading and revision history, highlights, notes, quizzes, flashcards, comparison groups, and memorization records.
Your challenge questions and unfinished challenge rooms, temporary challenge recordings, and personal challenge details. Completed shared match history may retain a non-identifying "Deleted account" entry so the other participant's result remains understandable.
Your stored voice-note files and teacher/student lesson-note relationships associated with the deleted account.
Your Firebase Authentication account and account-linked Firestore data.

A limited deletion receipt may be retained without your raw Firebase identifier so the system can safely finish or confirm the deletion request. Deletion is scheduled for completion within 30 days, subject to short-lived security logs and backup retention.

Academy managers

If you are the manager of an academy, deletion is blocked until you transfer management to another eligible person or delete the academy. This prevents an active academy and its members from being left without a manager.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@muyassir.app from the address connected to your account and use the subject "Account Deletion Request." We may ask for reasonable information to verify that the account belongs to you before acting. Do not send your password, sign-in code, or API token.
